Seeking an innovative secondary educator with a commitment to working with diverse urban populations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mathematics, science or English education with an earned doctorate. The successful candidate should have five years appropriate teaching experience in grades 7-12 in a concentration offered by the program. College level experience is desirable. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities may include teaching foundations, secondary methods, literacy, and assessment courses. Also may include supervising student teachers as well as related duties such as advising and committee work.
