DUESSELDORF, Germany, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Juergen Weber is set to step down as chairman of Deutsche Post (DPWGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) at the end of the year and be replaced by the former chief executive of Deutsche Postbank (DPBGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Wulf von Schimmelmann, sources familiar with the situation said on Tuesday.
A Post spokeswoman declined to comment on the matter. The daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, in a prerelease of its Wednesday edition, also reported the imminent change.
