Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is the fourth largest producer of containerboard and corrugated packaging products in the United States. PCA converts approximately 83% of the containerboard it produces into finished corrugated containers for a broad base of both local and national accounts. In 2012 PCA produced 2.6 million tons of containerboard and shipped 34.7 billion square feet of corrugated products.



In 2013 PCA acquired Boise, Inc., growing to $5.5 billion in sales and 14,000 employees. PCA now operates eight mills and 100 corrugated product plants and related facilities. PCA is the third largest producer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America.
