Wafer Fab Process Technician (C Shift):

Essential Functions:
This position will be responsible for executing in a timely manner the correct disposition of wafer material deemed non standard or requiring special processing or assistance through communication with correct personnel which includes but not limited to manufacturing, engineering and yield enhancement personnel.
Responsible for Gauge R & R studies on select tools as well as responsible for running experiments, tracking lots, analyzing data, identifying deviations from standards, and using a systematic problem solving approach to address issues. Be able to use given systems for the purpose of updating specifications, whether for process and or tool dispositions as well as manufacturing operational specifications.

Organizational Culture:
In this position you will be assigned to a shift with approx 60 personnel made up from various groups such as manufacturing, maintenance and process engineering. You will report to the Shift Manager. You will be working a 4-3-3-4 schedule reflecting 12 hour work days. You will work alongside other process techs that will be disciplined in other technologies other than your own. You will be exposed to a high volume manufacturing environment inside a class 100 clean room wearing appropriate clean room attire. You will be called upon for your ideas and contributions in the form of actions (individual or team contributions) that will support the Fab in continuously improving product quality and cycle time.

Experience:
2 years experience working in a semiconductor fab and an AA degree required. Additional semiconductor work experience may be used in place of the degree
• Views problems as opportunities and takes actions
• Properly diagnose product vs. equipment issues and work with the equipment technicians to resolve equipment issues.
• Assist with the monitoring of product yields to help identify yield improvement and product quality opportunities
• Demonstrate flexibility in rapidly changing situations
• Support the manufacturing group with timely responses to their ongoing requirements
• Support other engineering duties as assigned.
• Knowledgeable in semiconductor Wafer Fab processes.
• Very strong work ethics and a drive to not compromise product quality
• Able to interface directly across multiple shifts and departments.
• Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to other technical personnel
• Be a highly motivated, energetic, self starter with strong follow up skills
• Be customer oriented
