Wafer Fab Maintenance Technician - Probe (B Shift)

Wafer Fab Technician - Probe (B Shift)
Performs maintenance functions associated with the testing of semiconductor wafers.
Quickly identifies, troubleshoots and repair equipment related malfunctions
Performs set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer testers and probers.
Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustments and ensure process optimization.
Uses sophisticated programs to track and control equipment utilization.
Coaches and trains lower level technicians, to develop technical, teamwork and leadership skills.
Works with engineering in conducting test and experiments on wafer fab equipment to enhance production through put and other projects.
Experience:
2 year degree or better in Electronics or equivalent work experience.
Knowledgeable in ATE Wafer Testers, Probers and Probecards.
Ability to read electronic and pneumatic schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
Skilled in the tools necessary to troubleshoot and repair electronic PCBs Oscilloscope, Soldering, Multimeters, etc.)
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills.
Strong computer skill. Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office products.
Very strong work ethics and a drive to not compromise product quality.
Able to interface directly across multiple shifts and departments.
Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to other technical personnel.
Be a highly motivated, energetic, self starter with strong follow up skills.
Must work well with others in a team environment.
