KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Campus Recruiting organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop recruiting strategy for University of Mississippi, Vanderbilt University, Mississippi State and locally important schools including pre-identification of candidates, pre-screening resumes, operational plans, diversity plans, and branding activities to attract top talent and compile year-end results summary annually
  • Manage KPMG school team to help ensure the appropriate selection of team members and clearly defined role definitions/responsibilities, coach and prepare the campus team members for campus visits, and monitor closely to help ensure unified recruiting approach
  • Prepare for all on-campus events (success dinners, presentations, Meet the Firms, etc.) and working with student organizations for all practices hiring from school (i.e., Beta Alpha Psi, MIS Club, NABA, etc.) while attending all campus events to help ensure representation of other firm members/school team; may be responsible for some or all administrative aspects of on-campus events
  • Maintain contact with candidates and serve as the key source of contact prior to the offer stage; become 'The' KPMG representative known on campus - the point person for deans, department heads, students, faculty, career centers, administrators and others on-campus organizations
  • Prepare logistics for on-campus interviews including posting job descriptions and handling all aspects of candidate application process for campus hires assigned schools
  • Help local recruiting team with coordination and execution of local office programs and office visits in Memphis, Jackson, Nashville and Knoxville offices

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of working in an accounting recruiting process with financial budget and reporting experience or similar role preferably within a professional services environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/ university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent and demonstrated written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills, and strong attention to detail with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of partners, managers and staff, with varying levels of experience in campus recruiting and present school recruiting program and results to area leadership as appropriate
  • Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends as needed; travel up to seventy-five percent annually (depending on time of year)
