As the Advertising Program Manager, you must write clear,

attractive copy in a distinct voice that matches the tone of specific brands. You

are responsible for interpreting copywriting briefs to understand the broad

business objective and project requirements. You will collaborate with Art

Directors, Marketers and other internal and external stakeholders who provide

feedback. Projects may range from direct mail and circulars to online web

pages. You and the Advertising Assistant Program Manager will edit, proofread,

archive copy, and brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members across

Creative, eCommerce and Agency teams.


The Advertising Program Manager position is part of the

Creative Team. In this role, you wi
ll serve as the primary lead on copy

for the Brand and Creative Teams as well as Commercial creative. While applying

expertise in communication structure and development, you will oversee

consistency across teams and ensure copy is developed, published and archived

in a way that benefits the entire Marketing and eCommerce organizations.



  • Develop projects based on creative

    briefs for initiatives and/or campaigns

  • Interpret and communicate business


  • Collaborate with Art Directors,

    Marketers and Agencies on messaging and how it relates to visual creative

    as well as broad objectives

  • Gather, consolidate, interpret and

    communicate comments from stakeholders

  • Keeping projects on schedule by

    providing timely feedback to all project team members as well as the

    leadership team

  • Research, gather and analyze copy

    information and requirements from other departments to inform the content

  • Collaborate with Marketing and

    Ecommerce teams to understand, develop, organize and distribute copy

    content needs on an ongoing basis

  • Monitor and respond to customer

    comments about copy and tone

  • Ensure consistency in voice and visual creative

    throughout all communication touch points


  • Bachelor's degree

    in Advertising,

    Marketing, or Communications

  • Minimum of 3 - 6

    years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising within a national

    retailer, CPG company or advertising agency

  • Strong leadership, organizational

    and project management skills

  • Demonstrated experience working

    with and leveraging consumer research

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office

    product suite including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal and

    communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional

    presentation skills

  • Ability to thrive

    in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Talented in problem-solving and

    understanding of business priorities

  • Automotive knowledge a plus
