ASSISTANT MANAGER

We are a metal component company that has been serving the Texas Panhandle since 1988. We provide steel buildings, steel residential roofing, and metal building components to both contractors, and the general public. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Store Manager and assists with sales, inventory control, safety, and all administrative functions. 



Some of the responsibilities of this position are: 





  • Estimating material list for customers


  • Enter sales orders into the computer


  • Manage inventory and schedules for restocking


  • Supervision of ten plus employees


  • Receives and responds to customer phone calls


  • Help increase the store's sales and profitability




Some of the requirements of this position are: 



  • Strong basic math skills


  • Sales/customer service experience in metal components, construction and/or roofing products


  • Computer and order entry skills


  • Strong administrative functions such as inventory control, invoicing, computer transactions, cash deposits, and material estimates


  • This is a salaried position with a sales commission paid monthly.
