ASSOCIATE OPERATIONS ANALYST

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Operations Analyst gathers, organizes and analyzes data to support the strategic and operating objectives of the Maintenance Department (200+ field maintenance and set-up employees).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate must have strong critical thinking skills, communication skills (both verbal and written), be fluent in Microsoft Office (with an advanced knowledge of Excel), have a foundational understanding of database systems (with an aptitude for developing queries in PeopleSoft), and show initiative for problem solving and process improvement.  

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Operations Manager and works alongside of the Lead Analyst


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create/Run PeopleSoft queries to retrieve information for weekly, periodically, and quarterly reporting
  • Retrieve, organize and manage data in support of ongoing special projects 
  • Assist in the development of the maintenance annual budget
  • Analyze weekly expenses and trends to evaluate any potential variances to planned budget
  • Evaluate proposed projects to determine potential effectiveness and profitability
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze data from all necessary field maintenance surveys using Perseus and other forms of data gathering programs
  • Support annual and weekly inventory count reconciliations and analysis for all Maintenance Technician’s
  • Support the creation and maintenance of all KPI reports located in WebFOCUS
  • Perform ad hoc queries and reports as needed from Maintenance Leadership
  • Maintenance Technician Time keeping, tracking and verification reporting
  • Monitoring of KPI reporting for analysis of trends both favorable and unfavorable.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Management and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • One to three years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of mainframe tables and database systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel Formulas
  • Experience using PeopleSoft and WebFOCUS are a plus
