We're seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The CFO is a member of the AMC executive management team who is responsible for leading financial decision-making and providing input to the development and execution of AMC's strategic initiatives.


  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate AMC's fiscal function and performance.

  • Maintain credibility with the AMC family's various boards of directors by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends.

  • Provide leadership to the AMC Accounting and Finance team.

  • Develop and maintain reliable budgeting and financial forecasting systems that provide management with insight relating to upcoming financial risks and opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems that highlight key performance metrics to facilitate the management of the AMC's various businesses.

  • Participate in the development and evaluation of AMC's financial plans and programs as a strategic partner.

  • Provide leadership in the structuring and negotiation of terms pertaining to mergers, acquisitions and other key partner relationships.

  • Maintain internal control systems that will enforce AMC's financial policies and procedures, safeguard assets and support the integrity of the financial reporting system.

  • Develop strategies for managing and deploying AMC's capital and liquidity. Implement strategies to ensure that each entity is appropriately capitalized and has sufficient liquidity to execute their respective business strategies.

  • Manage the relationship between AMC and its investment advisers. Monitor investment portfolio performance and compliance with AMC's Investment Policy Statement ("IPS"). Evaluate the need for changes to the IPS and propose amendments to the Board as appropriate.

  • Manage AMC's insurance program ensuring that adequate coverages are obtained at competitive prices.

  • Provide advice with respect to the design of compensation plans for AMC senior executives. Monitor the calculation of payments under existing compensation plans for AMC senior executives.

  • Manage the relationship between AMC and its independent auditors and other external accounting professionals.

  • Work with outside tax advisors to monitor compliance with all tax reporting requirements and develop strategies to allow AMC to execute its plans in a tax-efficient manner.


  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance. MBA and/or CPA certificate is a plus.

  • Fifteen years or more related experience or equivalent. Experience should include time serving as an executive in a financial leadership role. Working with financial services and/or technology services businesses preferred.

  • Prior experience working with and presenting to boards.

  • Previous M&A experience and familiarity with operating an international business are pluses.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to form relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Exploratory, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Previous experience managing a team.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of general tax concepts and familiarity with accounting software.
