Job Description

HBK is looking for a goal-oriented Contract Technical Recruiter will focus in the areas of candidate talent sourcing and placement, retention, and strategy for our North American business with roles in technical sales, sensor design and development, software development, manufacturing in the test and measurement industry.

They will foster a collaborative relationship with our hiring managers and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers and helps attract the brightest talent.

Time commitment

6-month work assignment with the option to extend for another 6 months.

Primary responsibilities

Own the full cycle recruiting process for all open positions in North America from job requisition, pipelining, scheduling, interviewing feedback/consultation, reference checks pre-offer, through to offer negotiation.

Establish strong relationships with leaders and hiring managers and understanding their hiring needs and deliver a qualified candidate pool.

Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through proactively conducting research and investigate innovative ways to identify new candidates from references, online recruiting events, and Linked In

Build a diverse candidate pipeline by using creative sourcing methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, online events, niche engineering sites, engineering societies and social media etc.)

Appropriately interview screen candidates-based interest level, availability, visa status, salary expectations, relocation requirements, and basic qualifications.

Ensure a positive experience for all candidates beginning with initial contact.

Support implantation of two major recruitment efforts:

North American technical internship program

Apprenticeship program in Marlborough Plant

Professional qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

3+ years of technical sales recruiting experience within a HR team focused on talent acquisition or staffing company.

Talent for training and empowering technical leaders to identify and recruit talent candidates.

Passion for diversity and inclusion and has taken initiative on implementing strategies to diversify teams.

Technical skills

Microsoft savvy - on camera Teams user, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Internet positing genius: colleges recruitment sites, LinkedIn and Indeed

Experience with applicant tracking systems: Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter

Predictive index (PI) certificate would be a big plus.

Personal skills

Excellent communication skills, must be able to communicate, persuade and engage with a variety of managerial levels work groups both domestic and international distributed groups.

Deeply detail oriented and have an ability to maintain momentum in a dynamic business environment

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate at different levels in an organization

Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member

Sponsorship

Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States. Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
