EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (LUBBOCK)

DWG Inc., LLC has an immediate opening for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic position in our O'Donnell location. Must be able to work on Caterpillar & John Deere Heavy Equipment. Be a dedicated, energetic Heavy-Duty Mechanic with an aptitude to learn.

Qualifications:

Ø Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

Ø Understanding of computer testing technologies.

Ø Ability to lift heavy machinery.

Ø Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.

Ø Ability to work after-hours if required.

Ø Good communication skills.

Ø Valid Driver’s License

Ø Previous Heavy Equipment experience required; You have 5+ years’ experience.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:

Ø Driving to the job site.

Ø Inspecting equipment, cranes, excavator and other heavy equipment for proper performance.

Ø Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.

Ø Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.

Ø Repairing damaged equipment parts.

Ø Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.

Ø Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like hydraulic hammers.

Ø Performing major repair work when necessary.

Ø Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.

Ø Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.

Job Type:

Ø Full-time

Pay:

Ø $28.00 - $30.00 per hour; based on experience
