Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for management and oversight of the Town's compensation, recruitment, and employee relations programs. The position will provide comprehensive services and support to employees at all levels of the organization in the areas of recruitment and selection, retention, pay and classification, communication, employee relations, performance management and training & development. The Human Resources Manager works alongside the HR Director to design and implement best-in-class HR programs and assists with the development and analysis of HR-related performance metrics to ensure successful completion of goals and objectives.

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Business, Public Administration, or related field.

  • A minimum of three years of increasingly progressive human resources generalist experience. Supervisory experience is desired but not required. HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR, IPMA-CP) or interest and ability to become certified is preferred.
