Department of Public Works, Municipal Service Worker Crew Leader - Streets Division

The City of Lebanon is accepting applications for the Full Time position of a Municipal Service Worker Crew Leader in the Streets Division of the Department of Public Works. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated team player & will lead and perform a wide range of maintenance activities in the Division that will include roadway repair, traffic control, traffic signage installation / replacements, event support, snow plow operations & other duties as assigned, that could include work within the Parks & Cemetery Divisions. Experience with the operation of heavy construction equipment & roadway maintenance activities preferred.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent GED & possess experience with the use of computers, Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, & have excellent written & verbal communication skills. Minimum of 8 years of experience with roadway related construction work is preferred. Applicants must possess at the time of application a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License, or have the ability to promptly obtain, a valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver's License within 6 months of employment. Anticipated starting hourly pay rate is $22.21 to $25.87, Depends On Qualifications. Training opportunities are available for a pay rate increase. Candidates must be able to periodically work non-regular hours in support of snow & ice response, special events, & other non-routine work requirements.
