This opportunity is at the ground floor of a new and fast growing fiber optic telecommunications company and will require learning new skills and the ability to grow with our team. The position will be responsible for Tier-2 Network Operations Support including, but not limited to: residential & commercial customer technical support, data/voice/video services provisioning, commercial customer install coordination, network operations, documentation, and other responsibilities as assigned.


  • High school graduate or equivalent required

  • AAS degree in Computer Science or related field

  • At least 2 years of Network &/or IT systems helpdesk/technical support

  • Professional certification (e.g. Net+, CCENT) preferred

  • Prior experience with Internet Service Provider and/or NOC environments

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently and accurately

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment

Successful candidates will have the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues both in person and over the phone and provide excellent customer service. Must be self-motivated and eager to learn. Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent organization skills, and be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms. Must be willing to work in a team environment.
