The successful candidate for our Sr. Business Analyst will drive process and system improvements throughout the Company’s critical business systems including ERP and all its modules, business intelligence, Salesforce, custom applications, and any miscellaneous subsystems and interfaces. The Sr. Business Analyst will manage cross-functional project stream, requirements gathering, analysis, software design, testing, documentation, training, implementation support and ongoing support. Requests will vary in complexity and scope, sometimes requiring the analyst to maintain a flexible work schedule, work on multiple software systems across the organization simultaneously, and coordinate efforts between IT resources, external vendors, and business users.

The ideal candidate must be able to:
• Proactively identify business process gaps and opportunities for improvement and then lead project development and implementation of the solutions.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare project documents, functional requirements, reports, feasibility studies, and cost/benefit analysis to support assigned projects.
• Provide support for AX 2012. Resolve time-sensitive issues impacting daily business work. Work for best solution without new code development in AX. Balance best solution with resource reality.
• Provide front-line support for Business Intelligence. Collaborate with users to define the problem. Identify the correct IT resource or consultants to help resolve the issue.
• Lead functional design meetings, documenting business requirements and technical specifications. Work with in-house software developers and external software vendors to turn specifications into software solutions.
• Prepare project plans and testing schedules. Coordinate testing activities and work closely with internal business groups and outside third-party vendors to ensure the successful implementation of new processes and systems.
• Develop and execute thorough unit and system testing scenarios and documentation. Assist in developing integrated test scripts, preparing test materials, executing integrated testing, and documenting the results.
• Document operating procedures and technical support material for affected areas of the business. Prepare detailed, step-by-step work instructions for each process and update procedures as processes evolve.
• Assist in system upgrades, conversions and other maintenance for supported solutions and systems.
• Provide on-going analysis and support for installed applications. Provide technical training to users as required.
• Keep abreast of related industry practices, trends and events via research, news sources, conferences, and continued training/personal development.
• Provide back-up support to other IT staff members as required.

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX. Functional knowledge of AX modules.
• Excellent project management skills to lead projects from inception through successful implementation.
• Ability to think through and logically analyze work assignments and problems. Operate independently utilizing discretion, working effectively under job pressure due to deadlines.
• Possess an extremely well developed ability to read, write, and speak English, including the ability to speak to groups of varying sizes in the role of teacher or trainer.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to varying levels of the company and varying audiences.
• Excellent skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to effectively problem solve, prioritize, and follow through on assignments and projects.
