Role: Adolescent Engagement Coach & Group FacilitatorJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Adolescent Engagement Coach & Group Facilitator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and mentorship to assigned youth, including education support, coaching, community engagement, and group facilitation. You will work closely with youth and their families to develop positive relationships and address areas of need in their lives. Additionally, you will lead weekly group sessions, plan activities, and monitor progress towards individual goals.Key Responsibilities:- Provide support for resilience skills building and therapeutic adventure services through group sessions and individual meetings- Lead adventure-based activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and biking at least 2-3 times a month- Maintain a caseload of at least 20 clients, including group clients- Meet with youth one-on-one to develop and monitor individual plans and goals- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation accurately and timely- Plan and execute weekly group sessions promoting resilience skills building- Maintain communication with professional team, supervisor, clients, and families- Attend trainings to develop facilitation, clinical, and technical skills- Advocate for positive outcomes for every clientQualifications:- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work) preferred- Experience in mental health, substance misuse, or adventure education field preferred- Experience working with youth and families- Excellent communication skills- Strong organizational skills- Ability to work flexible hours- Access to a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license- Proficiency with computer programs- CPR/First Aid certification preferred- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plusSkills:- Ability to work with diverse populations- Strong time management and leadership skills- Patience and interpersonal skills- Conflict resolution and teamwork skills- Creativity and program development collaboration- Attention to detail and ability to uphold rules and expectationsWorking Conditions:This position may require evening and weekend work, as well as driving around the Denver Metro area.
