Associate Pastor
Responsibilities:
Give biblical messages at the weekly Sunday evening services, oversee all operations having to do with those services. Speak at the four-main weekend services when needed to fill in for the senior pastor. Oversee the worship department. Lead worship at the Wednesday, and four main church services as needed. Lead worship from a primary instrument such as acoustic guitar or keyboard. Perform weddings and funerals when needed. Lead communion monthly. Give announcements at main church services as needed. Meet with couples and families who need ministry or prayer. Maintain office hours to be available to staff and families from the church.
Attend regular staff meetings.
Special skills needed:
Proficient in Ableton Live software, PCO (Planning Center Online) proficiency, skilled in key musical instruments, skill in leading churches in worship of 2,000 members or greater. Experience in conducting weddings and funerals, proficient in teaching biblical messages.
Applicant must be aligned with church distinctives.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Minimum 4 years’ experience in the above-mentioned responsibilities.
