We are seeking a Cultivation Compliance Officer to ensure our cannabis cultivation facility operates in full adherence to state and local regulations. This role is vital in maintaining regulatory compliance, conducting audits, overseeing METRC reporting, and supporting the cultivation team with compliance best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable about the cannabis industrys regulatory landscape.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to align with Missouri cannabis regulations and company standards.Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure all cultivation processes comply with state-mandated guidelines.Oversee METRC tracking and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely data entry for all seed-to-sale activities.Train cultivation staff on compliance protocols, including recordkeeping, METRC procedures, and state-mandated security and sanitation practices.Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising management on necessary operational adjustments.Work closely with cultivation, security, and management teams to ensure all compliance-related tasks are followed correctly.Investigate and resolve compliance discrepancies, working with state regulators when necessary.Maintain organized documentation and generate compliance reports for internal and external audits.Qualifications & Experience:Previous experience in a compliance role within the cannabis industry or a highly regulated environment is preferred.Strong understanding of METRC and cannabis seed-to-sale tracking systems.Knowledge of Missouri cannabis regulations and state licensing requirements.Experience conducting audits, inspections, and reporting compliance issues.Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and enforce compliance procedures among team members.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced cultivation environment.Benefits:Competitive salary ($50,000 – $64,639 per year)Dental, vision, and health insurance optionsFlexible spending and health savings accountsPaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Full-time, on-site at the cultivation facility8 to 12-hour shifts, including potential evening and weekend availabilityThis is an excellent opportunity to be a key compliance leader in a growing cannabis operation.
