The ideal candidate will have a datafocused background with exposure to modern database management techniques and technologies, ETL, and data modeling, and objectoriented programming. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing data & technology architecture to support Wellnecitys next generation of products. Reporting and Location: This position will report to Head of Product Operations, Client Implementation, and be based in Charlotte NC. Remote work will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Key Responsibilities Include:Designing and developing scalable modern data systems running on fully cloud infrastructure.Operate a data hub, delivering clinical, financial, and utilization information to partners and internal business stakeholders on a regular and ondemand basis.Maintain Wellnecitys technology platform, enabling business teams to identify and implement health plan savings strategies to improve both quality of care and cost of care.Prepare healthcare data for ingestion and conversion to a unified data standard using ETL and automation tools.Maintain Wellnecitys analytic environment (Postgres, Knime) by creating queries, dashboards, and data pipelines.Own data integrity, availability, documentation, and efficient access to data and analyses.Identify opportunities for process improvement in the endtoend data development and delivery lifecycle.Incorporate automation wherever possible to improve access to data and analyses.Establish and troubleshoot data connections with Wellnecitys data providers and performance partner networks. Required Experience:Bachelors degree with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience required; Masters degree with practical or academic experience in computer science, data engineering, or business analytics preferred.Demonstrated experience working with SQL.Programming Experience is required (Python and JavaScript).Experience working with modern ETL tools such as Snaplogic or Airflow.Demonstrated success in team environments.Detailed analytical abilities demonstrated either through coursework, job experience, and/or a project from inception through completion. Demonstrated experience for identifying issues within data, troubleshooting and developing business solutions. Nice-to-Have Experience:Experience working with semistructured JSON data is a plus.Data Visualization skills are preferred (Tableau or PowerBI).Experience with project management tools is a plus (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Experience working with healthcare data, particularly eligibility, enrollment, medical claims and pharmacy claims preferred.Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
