We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of diesel trucks and motorhomes. This role requires a hands-on approach, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, chassis components, and related systems.Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.Repair or replace components such as air brakes, hydraulics, and suspension systems.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts as needed for repairs.Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.ExperienceProven experience in diesel mechanics or automotive repair is essential.Familiarity with light, medium, heavy duty trucks and motorhomes is a plus.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.Experience working with Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins, Detroit, Paccar engines or similar brands is preferred.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.Join us in delivering top-notch service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in our operations!
