Letterform Archives Marketing team is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager, an integral member of the Marketing team to develop, execute, and maintain the organization’s digital marketing campaigns reflecting our Marketing and Brand Strategy. The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Revenue Director and will support social media campaign and ad strategy, community management, content creation, and execution working closely with multiple teams across the organization.About Letterform ArchiveLetterform Archive is a nonprofit center for inspiration, education, and community. For more about us, explore our website: letterformarchive.org.ResponsibilitiesThe Digital Marketing Manager uses organic and paid digital and social advertising, social media community management, and creative storytelling to connect Letterform Archive with relevant target audiences improving brand awareness, recognition, loyalty, and drives sales, memberships, and donations.The ideal candidate for this role has demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for digital advertising and social media management reaching diverse audiences and is strategic, proactive, action-oriented, and driven to succeed.Strategy & Execution (70%)Plan, manage, and execute the digital marketing strategy, content strategy, and calendarPlan and execute Google Ad campaigns to drive participation, support, and engagement in the Archive’s marketing, sales, and development initiativesDevelop and implement the social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram (Posts, Reels, and Stories), LinkedIn, Bluesky, and future social platformsWork jointly with others to develop and amplify campaigns conducted throughout the organization to include messaging and partnershipsEnsure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with the Archives values, story, and voiceImplement Google, Facebook, and other third-party mechanisms on the Archive’s websites for use with digital and social media advertisingProduce and edit graphics for social media posts and campaigns, as neededAnalytics & Maintenance (30%)Demonstrate measurable results that are aligned with the orgs strategic planAnalyze the performance of social media content and digital advertising campaigns, research digital communications trends, and adjust as needed to grow following and engagementRespond to community and customers on social media (customer care best practices & engagement)Troubleshoot and provide solutions for social media platforms as neededMake website edits as neededMinimum QualificationsStrong working knowledge of analytic tools, including Meta Ads Manager and Google AnalyticsFour or more years of experience and expertise in organizing, and execution of successful social media campaignsDemonstrated success in growing social media presence on multiple platforms resulting in greater followers and audience engagementUnderstanding of social media KPIs; Assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement and optimize contentIntermediate level command of Adobe PhotoshopStrong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skillsMust be self-motivated but also able to effectively collaborate, work in teams and build good working relationships across multiple stakeholdersProblem solving skillsWorking knowledge and familiarity with WordPress and best SEO blog practicesArts and graphic design experience a plusProven track record of planning, executing, and measuring successful digital marketing and social media campaignsSome evening and weekend work will be required due to the always-on nature of social media and the need to attend and document Letterform Archive eventsBachelors degree or equivalent experience In addition to the minimum qualifications above, an ideal candidate would have experience working with archives, museums, or special collections and a knowledge of or interest in the arts, especially graphic design and related printing arts.Knowledge and Skills:A creative thinker with a developed understanding of the need to tailor messaging to diverse audiencesA strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media standards and best practices, as well as recent trendsAn aptitude for content creation, and the ability to decide the needs of various channels and to coordinate and execute the best possible formats for eachExperience shooting and editing photo and video content for social mediaExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories that bring Letterform Archive’s mission and brand voice to lifeDeep knowledge of social media platforms and how individuals of all ages are best engaging with content across those brandsEffective verbal communications skills in both one-on-one and group settings.Creative, collaborative, and highly organized in your approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.Strong attention to detail Experience shooting and editing photo and video content for social mediaBonus: basic web development (HTML and CSS) skillsPhysical DemandsThe Digital Marketing Manager will regularly be required to perform desk-based computer tasks, including using a computer screen for long periods of time, typing, and making phone calls. Position Type, Schedule, and LocationThis is a full-time, exempt position working 40 hours per week during the Archive’s normal office hours in addition to nights and weekends as required.
