About the RoleThe Fractional Head of People will oversee the clubs people strategy, HR operations, and team member experience, working closely with leadership to implement best-in-class people practices. This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environments and is looking for a fractional (part-time) opportunity to make a significant impact.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy & CultureDevelop and implement HR strategies that align with the clubs vision, mission, and growth objectives.Foster a positive, high-performance culture that enhances employee engagement and retention.Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational structure, talent development, and workforce planning.Talent Acquisition & OnboardingRefine and oversee the recruitment process to attract top talent aligned with the clubs service standards.Enhance onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company culture.Employee Relations & ComplianceAct as a trusted advisor to managers and team members, addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns.Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.Lead initiatives to improve employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace policies.Compensation, Benefits & Performance ManagementOversee compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans to ensure market competitiveness.Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, career development frameworks, and training initiatives.HR Operations & SystemsEstablish efficient HR workflows, including payroll, HRIS management, and policy documentation.Identify and implement HR technologies and tools to streamline people operations.Qualifications10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Experience in hospitality, wellness, or high-touch service industries preferred.Deep knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.Strong ability to coach senior leadership.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Experience with HR systems, ATS platforms, and payroll administration.Ability to work in a fractional (part-time) capacity with flexibility for remote and on-site engagement.Location: Remote role with occasional in-club presence as needed (preference for NY based candidates).Commitment: Part-time, fractional basis (estimated 20 hours per week)
