Job Description: Psychotherapist with knowledge, skills and abilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of general mental health disorders. NOTE: Any qualified applicants currently in their own private practices with an established client caseload who are interested in this position are encouraged to apply as this contract includes the option to merge your practice so you can continue treatment with your clients. Location: Requires provision of direct patient care psychological services and professional trainings at the physical location of assigned clinic(s) and training site(s). Functional Roles1) Clinical Care Duties: Provides a range of psychological therapeutic interventions for patients served by Elevation Psychology PLLC and the Phoenix Mental Health clinic, including, but not limited to, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, family education and hypnotherapy. Consults and collaborates with clinical providers of Elevation Psychology PLLC, psychiatric treatment providers of the Phoenix Mental Health clinic and other community mental health or medical care providers as ethically and legally appropriate about shared patients for the purposes of enhanced clinical treatment coordination. 2) Training/Consultation/Supervision Provides clinical education, training, consultation and supervision for trainees, interns, residents, or licensed clinical providers for the purposes of professional development on the appropriate use of clinical interventions, psychological assessment methods and tools, and other psychological competencies (i.e., consultation with interdisciplinary team members) and their applications in the psychedelic/medication-assisted psychotherapeutic treatment process of mental health disorders (i.e., PTSD) to promote dissemination of ethical, legal and professional standards of care, specialized knowledge and proficiency of skills/abilities that reflect the mission and organizational goals of Elevation Psychology PLLC and the Phoenix Mental Health clinic. Other ResponsibilitiesPosition has limited clinical program management responsibilities, but many opportunities for program development and content creation, including preparation, organization, and dissemination of professional content on specified topics of competency and interest for public consumption, patient care activities, outreach/engagement, or professional training in varied multi-media formats.May be asked to conduct outreach and community engagement activities for the purposes of education and to promote access to professional development training seminars and consultative services offered by Elevation Psychology PLLC on the appropriate use of clinical interventions, psychological assessment methods and tools, and other psychological competencies (i.e., consultation with interdisciplinary team members) and their applications (i.e., in the psychedelic/medication-assisted psychotherapeutic treatment process). May be asked to conduct or collaborate with other professionals on approved psychological research that supports the mission of Elevation Psychology PLLC and/or the Phoenix Mental Health clinic, or affiliated academic or research institutions. Position may involve travel for the purposes of conducting training seminars/workshops and organizational or professional consultation services. When travel is required for your position, the Company will provide reasonable travel expenses and accommodations. QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university graduate training program (CACREP, CSWE or APA) and completion of an accredited internship training program (CACREP, CSWE or APA). Licensure: Currently possesses and maintains an active license to independently practice psychotherapy in Texas (LPC, LCSW, Ph.D., or Psy.D.,) and is in good standing to practice according the bylaws of their respective licensing board. Experience: 2 years of practice as a licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker or licensed psychologist. Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be eligible and are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: In addition to the experience above, the candidate must demonstrate the following: a. Knowledge of and the ability to apply evidence-based psychological treatments to the full range of patient populations, including in a group therapy format. b. Ability to provide professional advice and consultation in areas related to professional psychology. c. Knowledge of clinical research literature (i.e., PTSD and trauma treatments). d. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Other Valued Experience/Training (Not required): Teaching, Supervision (i.e., LPC-S, LCSW-S credentials), hypnotherapy certification. Credentialing: Meets eligibility criteria to obtain credentialing from all major health insurance carriers to bill for provision of professional psychology services. Recommendations: Provides two letters of recommendation or contact information for professional references that can attest to qualifications, competency and employability.
