This (open rank) position will teach 24 credit hours per academic year within the Kinesiology department as per the department’s needs in a student-centered environment.

Our Ideal Candidate Is Someone Who:
•    Is a positive, energetic, competent, and caring professional who wants to join an excellent faculty dedicated to teaching. 
•    Desires to serve students from diverse backgrounds.

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience:
•    Must possess an earned doctorate in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely- related discipline.
•    Desired qualifications include experience in teaching biomechanics and research methods, women’s health-related wellness programming, and health promotion research. 
•    Demonstrated leadership activities and certifications from ACSM, NSCA, or other related organizations are preferred. 

This Position Is Responsible For:
•    Teaching 24 credit hours per academic year in the area of Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
•    Conducting, publishing, and presenting research; providing academic advisement; supervising student internship experiences; and participating in curriculum development.
•    Hold 10 office hours per week and be accessible to students
