Meat Production Manager 

US Wellness Meats (USWM) is a family-owned company, founded in 2000, dedicated to providing high-quality, grass-finished beef directly to consumers. We expanded our offerings to include pastured pork, grass-finished bison and lamb, wild-caught seafood, snacks, and more, growing our online store to over 400 items. With a history of innovative e-commerce, we employ over 40 local residents at our state-of-the-art facility in Canton, MO.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, managing the production of various proteins from primal breakdown to retail, with expertise in managing people, inventory, and supply chains. The ideal candidate will have ten years of experience in the production industry, particularly in meat processing, and a passion for quality products. This position requires relocation to Northeast Missouri – Canton, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee meat production, including primal breakdown, fabrication, and retail preparation of various proteins.
• Manage and mentor production staff, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Control inventory and oversee supply chain management to ensure timely product availability.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain quality standards and streamline processes.
• Maintain a high standard of sanitation and compliance with health regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Ten years of experience in the production industry with expertise in meat fabrication.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Experience in inventory control and supply chain management.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to Canton, MO.
