Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Golf Cart Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling to customers’ locations to diagnose and repair golf carts efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will have basic electrical diagnostic skills, mechanical expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills to represent our company positively in every customer interaction. Key Responsibilities 1. Diagnostic, Repair and Accessory installation Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on golf cart systems including batteries, wiring, motors, brakes and drivetrains. Perform repairs, maintenance, and part replacements as needed. Test repaired carts to ensure issues are resolved effectively. Utilize wire diagrams, multimeter and other diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot electrical systems. Install accessories as requested.2. Customer Interaction Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to explain repairs and provide updates. Offer recommendations for preventative maintenance or upgrades when appropriate. Educate customers on proper maintenance and operation of their golf cart.3. Record-Keeping Document work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair. Complete and submit job reports promptly upon completion of job. Document work performed, additional work needed and general condition with pictures and notes.4. Travel and Equipment Safely drive company-provided vehicle to customers’ locations. Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle to ensure readiness for each job. 5. Safety and Compliance Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe operations. Adhere to company policies and applicable local and state regulations. Qualifications Technical Skills: Proficient in using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and other automotive-related tools. Basic knowledge of diagnostic tools and techniques for small vehicles. Familiarity with both electric and gas-powered golf carts is a plus. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of proven experience in automotive, small engine, or golf cart repair (preferred). Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Certification in automotive repair (preferred but not required). Possesses Tools Necessary for the job: Owns multimeter and basic tools necessary; special tools will be provided. Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Reliability: Dependable and punctual with excellent time management skills. Drive to Excel: Faces and overcomes challenges with minimal interventions. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Capable of bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Capable of working outdoors in all manner of weather conditions to include temps below 32F, rain, snow, ice and extreme heat conditions. Comfortable working on high voltage DC and AC systems in a confined area. Must be able to distinguish wire colors and read fine print with or without medical device assistance as needed.Why Join Us?
