Key Responsibilities:- Assist in lifting and moving plants and materials, including heavy lifting as needed.- Assist in handling plant tissue culture plugs and transferring them into liners.- Assist in planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing plants in the greenhouse and fields.- Assist in operating machinery and equipment used in nursery tasks.- Maintain clean work areas and assist in landscaping duties as directed.- Aid in preparing plants for shipment and ensuring proper packaging.- Follow instructions from the production manager regarding plant care.Qualifications:- Ability to assist in lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.- Basic fine motor skills and attention to detail.- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.- Previous experience in agriculture work is preferred but not required.- Ability to stand, crouch, or kneel for extended periods as needed.- Good physical stamina and willingness to perform manual labor.Both positions offer competitive wages and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
