Professional and Personal Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an occupational therapist in the state in which practicing.
- Successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Possess a minimum of at least one (1) year of clinical experience and/or home health/rehabilitation experience in occupational therapy preferable.
- Maintain good physical and mental health including current TB screening (refer to Health Screening Policy).
- Demonstrate integrity, good judgment, initiative, knowledge and analytical skills to be able to make independent judgments in the home setting.
- Possess interpersonal skills sufficient to gain acceptance by others, such as patients, caregivers, physicians, other professionals, alternative care specialists and community representative in situations, which could have a critical impact on patient care goals and interventions.
