We often work with nonprofits, philanthropies, public agencies, and businesses.ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP FOR EQUITABLE AND RESILIENT COMMUNITIES (PERC) CLEVELAND FREEDOM DREAMS COALITION (CFDC) The Partnership for Equitable and Resilient Communities (PERC) is a results-driven partnership between community, philanthropy, and government that advances racial equity and justice by shifting power and resources to Black, Indigenous, and Latino/a/x people living in low-wealth, under-resourced communities. Utilizing a culturally competent approach, PERC seeks to engage impacted communities in decision-making by creating comprehensive community plans, layering funding streams across programs, and creating pathways between community and government where they havent previously existed.POSITION OVERVIEWPERC Cleveland/Cleveland Freedom Dreams Coalition seeks a self-motivated, skilled project director and strategic thought partner knowledgeable about the social determinants of health, local government, and grantmaking to fill its Project Director position. As a grantee of PERC, The Cleveland Freedom Dreams Coalition is composed of local partners committed to creating the necessary conditions for distributive, community-centric leadership to emerge from within Black, Latinx, Indigenous + AAPI communities. This person will primarily work with TSALs Consulting Team + CEO to co-design grant efforts and execute project deliverables- with responsibilities including coalition engagement and coordination; progress reporting; management of ongoing communication; funding and partnership development; compliance/documentation; and liaison to program evaluation and technical assistance. The ideal candidate has experience executing coalition/team-based coordination, process streamlining and can adapt their role based on project needs. The project director will play a central role in this collaborative project, ensuring that the desired results are achieved and that the project stays on track.The ideal candidate will be a proactive, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial individual who can fully and efficiently own projects and workflows from start to finish. This role will be locally based and will serve as the primary point of contact for the coalition members and external stakeholders of the PERC Project Manager with Urban Strategies Inc. (USI).Additional information + materials about the Cleveland Freedom Dreams Coalition is available upon request.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESProject Coordination, Strategy Cultivation, and Partnership Development (50%)Support Project Director with ongoing Coalition communication, meeting scheduling/documentation + other supportAssist with fostering effective external and internal communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.Organize and understand the work being done within each strategy working group (Equitable Civic Engagement + Democracy Building; Civic Infrastructure; Housing; Community Economic Development).Assist with the coordination and management of any special projects- as needed.Progress Reporting, Compliance/Documentation, and Administrative (50%)Assist with identifying private + public funding opportunities. Assist Project Director with project management + tracking.Support the management of project contract (s)/budgets and expenditures.Maintain data sets identified as indicators and performance measures within the action plan.Assist with maintaining detailed project documentation, including ongoing meetings, working group deliverables, grant agreements, and performance reports.Be available to occasionally work nights and/or weekends, and travel.Other administrative duties as assigned.YOUR QUALITIES + EXPERIENCEExperience with project management system (e.g. Airtable + Monday.com)Knowledge of local government processesCommitment to racial equity, racial inclusion, social justice and creating a sense of belonging, as well as working knowledge of neighborhoods + community engagements priorities in Cleveland.Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work with a high level of independence and efficiency, coupled with a desire to be part of high-performing teams.Ability to work well with all levels of internal + external leadership and management as well as outside constituents.Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite with interest in design competency.Competency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suites, and/or other design platforms.THE DETAILSPosition type: Part-Time, Exempt, Non-supervisoryReports to: Project Director Location: Cleveland, Ohio (Hybrid)Salary range: ($29-$31 p/h)Benefits: TSAL provides a competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; 15 days of paid time off per year (up to 5 rollover days) in addition to paid holidays; and additional full-team days off determined at company leaderships discretion (shared with as much notice as possible).
