Reporting and Location: This position will report to Vice President of Product Operations and be based in Charlotte NC. Remote work will be considered on a case-by-case basis. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze healthcare data and generate useful business insights. Create models to identify trends and root causes of healthcare performance.Develop and deliver analyses and reports to internal and external stakeholders.Work with Product Operations and Customer Success teams to identify savings opportunity areas for external stakeholders. Track the performance of Health Plan initiatives for external stakeholders and proactively identify ways to improve performance. Combine quantitative data with qualitative data (e.g., Health Plan contracts) to help internal and external stakeholders understand the relationship between claims data and broader Health Plan decisions. Work with management team to structure an analytic environment that supports ongoing problem-solving. Communicate directly with client stakeholders (present findings, problem solve issues and solutions).Mentor team members, imparting industry best practices and fostering skill development.Develop a strong knowledge of the entire suite of Wellnecity solutions. Required Experience:Bachelors degree and minimum two years relevant work experience required, Masters preferred.Minimum 2 years experience with data modeling/analytics specifically. Strong analytics and data skills including solid training in statistics and/or data analysis, understanding of data management and visualization, ability to interpret and present findings.Experience working with healthcare data, particularly medical and pharmacy claims.Expert SQL user and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Demonstrated Client-facing experience (e.g., client presentations, working sessions).Experience working in a matrix organization, coordinating cross-functionally with customer success, data, and product teams.Ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel and Power Point. Nice-to-Have Experience:Understanding of US healthcare, particularly health plan / employer benefit space.Experience with project management tools preferred (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Experience in Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure (Microsoft).Project management experience with ability to effectively identify what’s important and effectively prioritize competing projects.
