We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Programmer to join our team and contribute to our mission.As a Senior CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for machining operations. You will work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet stringent industry standards and specifications. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety in our production workflows.Key Responsibilities:Develop, analyze, and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machining processes, specifically for firearms components.Collaborate with engineers to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings, ensuring accurate programming and machining processes.Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues, providing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Conduct regular maintenance and updates on CNC machines and software to ensure optimal performance.Train and mentor junior programmers and machine operators on CNC programming techniques and best practices.Implement and maintain documentation of programming procedures, standards, and best practices.Monitor production workflows, assess efficiency, and recommend improvements for processes and tooling.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, particularly within the firearms sector.Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in CNC programming and machining.Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in CNC programming, with a strong preference for experience in the firearms industry.Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).Extensive knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials relevant to firearms manufacturing.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Experience with multi-axis CNC machines required.Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.Knowledge of firearms design, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations.Salary: Dependent on experience.Location: Redmond, UTJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) 4% MatchDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10-hour shift
