Hiring Staff Accountant at BPX Solutions, LLC, Ontario





Key Responsibilities:General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process vendor invoices and payments, ensure timely billing and collections, and resolve discrepancies.Inventory Accounting: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and assist in periodic physical inventory counts.Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other analyses as required.Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of sales tax filings and other regulatory reports.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement best practices.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or a related industry.Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:CPA or progress toward certification.Experience with inventory management systems.Familiarity with state tax regulations and reporting requirements.
