If this sounds like you, wed love for you to join our team. JOB SUMMARY:The Technical Product Manager is a critical role responsible for curating and maintaining Valorians modular app development framework, ensuring it supports scalable and innovative solutions. Acting as a bridge between the Customer Product Owner and the Engineering Manager, this role translates high-level business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, data models, and actionable roadmaps. The Technical Product Manager ensures that the development of customer-facing products aligns with Valorians software development practices and strategic goals.This is a hybrid role with required visits to client sites.WHAT YOULL BE DOING:Framework Ownership & Curation: Maintain and evolve Valorians modular app development framework, including automation, workflows, forms, integrations, and enterprise security, to support scalable solutions.Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the Customer Product Owner and Engineering Manager to ensure seamless communication and alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.Requirements Translation: Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for the development team.Data Modeling: Define, document, and refine data models that support both the modular framework and customer-specific products.Documentation: Own and manage comprehensive documentation for the framework, including technical specifications, implementation guides, and standards aligned with Valorians software development practices.Roadmap Development: Create and maintain technical roadmaps for the framework, ensuring clear milestones and alignment with customer product goals.Standards & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to establish and maintain quality standards for framework modules and their implementation.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement enhancements to the framework based on feedback, emerging technologies, and evolving business needs.REQUIREMENTS:Technical Competencies:Expertise in software frameworks and technical documentation.Strong experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.Proficiency in data modeling for scalable and efficient system design.Familiarity with Valorians technology stack (JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Python).Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).Key Attributes:Exceptional communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Analytical and detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and deliverables.Proactive and collaborative, driving alignment and clarity across teams.Position Criteria: Must be located in the Houston or Gulf Coast region Travel to client sites requiredOil and gas industry experience highly preferred
