Job Description:The TMS Technician/Patient Care Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing patient care and supporting the treatment process for individuals undergoing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neurofeedback, biofeedback, Spravato treatments, and ketamine infusions. This position combines the technical aspects of conducting interventional psychiatric treatments with the administrative and patient coordination duties to ensure a seamless experience for patients. You will be responsible for performing TMS and other treatments, coordinating treatment schedules, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining effective communication with both the patients and the multidisciplinary care team. The TMS Tech/ Patient Care Coordinator ensures that all treatments are provided in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct interventional psychiatric treatment sessions, including TMS, neurofeedback, biofeedback, and Spravato treatments, while ensuring patient comfort and understanding of the process.Monitor patient health conditions throughout treatments and ensure that all actions are in line with physician orders and care plans.Educate patients on treatment procedures, answer questions, and provide ongoing support.Schedule treatments for patients, maintaining clear and accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Ensure timely completion and documentation of all patient notes.Maintain clear and professional communication with patients and their families to ensure a positive experience.Provide outstanding individualized patient care, ensuring patient progress is tracked and reported to the relevant treatment providers (e.g., physicians, therapists).Answer the office phone and ensure all patient needs are being responded to in phone system.Coordinate with providers to ensure proper treatment scheduling, verify benefits, conduct prior authorizations, and resolve pharmacy issues as needed.Assist with case management and provide lifestyle modification advice to support patient progress and recovery.Assist with data management, clinical research projects, and literature reviews as needed.Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the treatment team.Answer patient inquiries, manage complaints, and ensure a smooth patient experience throughout the course of treatment.Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as required.Requirements:Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with patients, providers, and administrative staff.Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.Strong computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic knowledge of Google Suite.Ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism, and handle difficult or stressful situations.Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with case management or prior authorization processes.Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with psychiatric treatments.Current CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
