Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External Affairs will serve as the senior development officer forOCCC. The Vice President will develop, administer, evaluate, and continuously improve initiatives, processes, programs, and strategies to grow a culture of philanthropy atOCCCand to generate funding that supports the immediate and long-term fundraising goals. In leading theOCCCFoundation, the Vice President will serve as its Executive Director and will work closely with the Foundation Trustees. The Vice President will also supervise the Office of Development staff to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with individuals, corporations, public and private foundations, alumni, community leaders, state of Oklahoma officials, and other internal and external stakeholders.
The Vice President will provide leadership for cultivating and developing impactful relationships withOCCCFoundation Trustees, OCCCs Board of Regents, employees, students, alumni, community members, external constituencies, and others; while remaining keenly focused on developing significant relationships with major gift donors.
The Vice President will oversee Career Services and Marketing and Communications; and ensure that all communication and messaging convey the values, principles, and aspirations ofOCCCand support the OCCCs fundraising and advancement goals.
The Vice President serves as a member of the Presidents Executive Leadership Team.
