What You’ll Do Were looking for a reliable self-starter to serve as our Warehouse Manager in our DTLA warehouse space. This individual will handle fulfillment, inventory management, customer inquiries, and other warehouse tasks as needed. This role starts as an on-call, part-time position, but offers the potential for growth into a full-time position as the business expands.ResponsibilitiesFulfill daily orders – Pick, pack, and ship with care and accuracyProcess returns – Receive, inspect, and confirm or deny returns based on condition upon arrival Manage inventory – Receive, count, and report shortages of inventory, helping to improve inventory management processes if necessary Manage customer order inquiries – Respond to customer service inquiries, ensure that customer inquiries relating to order fulfillment are addressedFile claims – File claims with couriers for packages that have been lost in transit, refund or re-ship replacements to customersMaintain warehouse flow – Keep the space efficient, clean, and organizedProblem-solve – Adapt to challenges in a startup environment and help to improve systems as neededWeekly status meetings – Discuss upcoming tasks, current workload, process improvements, and growth opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking ForReliability + Flexibility – Someone who is available on an on-call basis to address fulfillment, customer service, and warehouse tasks as needed. Applicants must have the flexibility to work up to 4 hours a day. Efficiency + Accuracy – Someone who can handle orders accurately and quicklySelf-starting + Problem-solving – Someone who is willing to adapt and improve warehouse systemsPhysical Capability – Someone who is able to lift boxes and move inventory as needed up to 50 poundsStrong Communication Skills – Someone who is able to read and write clearly and with grammatical accuracyAge Minimum – At least 18 years of ageWhat We Offer $500 – $2,000 / month20 – 80 hours a month$25 an hour1 – 4 hours a dayStartup environment with growth potential – First shot at a full-time role as the company scalesAutonomy + Ownership – Work independently, set your own hours (must be compatible with the warehouse and carrier pickup hours), and help shape warehouse processesAdditional Terms Trial Period – The accepted applicant will be introduced for a 30-day trial period (paid at the $500 minimum monthly rate) to ensure job fit. At the end of the trial period, both Hypsole and the accepted applicant will have the option to terminate without further work or pay.
