Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring an AUDIOLOGIST to perform disability audiologic evaluations for Americas Veterans and Service Members. The disability evaluation process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement) for the Veteran.The evaluations are scheduled for one 1 hour. The ideal AUDIOLOGIST candidate is able to work at least 4 to 8 hours per week in Valdosta (16 hours per week in Douglasville or Moultrie).The AUDIOLOGIST enters the Veterans audiometry information with active-duty/case history information, and opinion in the designated portal and submits electronically. There is no treatment, testing, scheduling, or billing on the part of the audiologist. ATTENTION:If you currently work for Veterans Affairs and would like this position part-time, the VA permits you to do so with a clearance letter.CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:Two years post-graduate experience (3 to 6 months of externship experience may be considered if post-graduate experience is less than two years).Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.Doctorate or Masters degree from a regionally accredited program.Current and unrestricted State of Georgia practitioner’s license.Malpractice/liability insurance for self-employment.Reside within a reasonable distance of the work city.Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet local, state, and federal standards or policies.
