Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients to ascertain their specific needs and visions for cabinetry.
- Design bespoke cabinets tailored to the unique characteristics of our clients’ spaces and personal tastes.
- Utilize various woodworking tools and techniques to construct cabinets with precision and care.
- Professionally install the finished cabinets in clients’ homes, ensuring impeccable fit and attention to detail.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of a small custom cabinet shop, including material procurement and inventory management.
- Oversee project management tasks such as timelines, budgets, and quality assurance checks.
- Mentor and guide junior staff or apprentices, fostering their growth in the industry.
- Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address any client inquiries.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and designs for accurate implementation.
- Create detailed shop drawings enabling accurate production.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in cabinetmaking or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of design and drafting principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Skilled in the operation of woodworking tools and machinery.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
